The beginnings of a comic book genius named Carlos Pacheco - Jesús Jiménez

It's been more than a year now, on November 9, 2022, Carlos Pacheco, one of the best Spanish superhero artists of all time, passed away . For more than 30 years he was one of the stars of Marvel and DC, for whom he illustrated their most iconic characters, from Superman and Batman to The X-Patrol , passing by Thor, Captain America either The Fantastic Four (which he also wrote the script for).

Last January he received the Gold Medal of Fine Arts, but, without a doubt, the greatest tribute that can be paid to a comic book artist is to reissue his works, so that they are accessible to everyone.

Carlos was recruited by the recently deceased Paul Neary (regular inker of Alan Davis ) for Marvel UK, the British division of the company. And from there he made the jump to DC, with the series Flash , already become one of the most popular authors of American comics.
